The 126th China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Canton Fair) was opened on October 15, and was held in three phases. The second phase was held from October 23 to 27, mainly displaying consumer goods, gifts, home decoration products.
According to the exhibition inquiry system, there are 2875 home furnishing exhibitors, including Europa home furnishing, Huida bathroom, Dongfang Yuhong, mengbaihe, Mona Lisa, etc. The category includes traditional Chinese furniture, domestic indoor furniture: living room, dining room, bedroom, study, kitchen, bathroom furniture, hotel furniture, office furniture, school furniture, medical furniture, outdoor furniture: garden, courtyard, beach, camping furniture, public facilities furniture, semi-finished furniture and spare parts.
Although it is not a professional exhibition of home furnishings, the large-scale Canton Fair still includes a large number of home furnishing enterprise brands. At the same time, Canton Fair is also a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete variety of goods, the largest number of buyers and the widest distribution of countries and regions, the best transaction effect and the best reputation in China. On October 28, the reporter noted that the Guangzhou brand enterprises in the second phase of the Canton Fair achieved stable transactions, the export market continued to expand, private enterprises achieved outstanding transactions, and the furniture exhibition area accounted for a large proportion of transactions. More and more enterprises in Guangzhou recognize the importance of brand and independent research and development, actively cross-border, embrace information technology, and further polish the brand of enterprises in Guangzhou.
The reporter learned that in the second phase of the fair, the Guangzhou delegation organized 198 exhibitors with 686 exhibition figures, and the turnover of the second phase exceeded 450 million US dollars, showing a stable overall year-on-year trend. Among them, the turnover of Guangzhou group brand enterprises reached more than 21 million US dollars, basically maintaining stability. The turnover of private enterprises was outstanding, with the turnover of phase II exceeding US $370 million, accounting for over 79% of the total in the current period.
It is worth noting that according to the statistics of Guangzhou Group's second phase transactions, furniture exhibition area accounts for about 37% of the total transactions among brand enterprises.
In terms of export market, European market accounted for the largest proportion of transactions in the current period, reaching 40%; followed by Asian market, reaching 29%. From the perspective of transaction regions, most of the buyers in Germany reached US $39 million, followed by American buyers, reaching US $25 million. Some exhibitors said that the attendance of the two phase purchasers of the Canton Fair was on the rise. Among them, the buyers and buyers of the countries and regions along the "one belt and one road" were the majority.
